In 1922, Lord John Reith was the first to declare that the media used to cover war was to be used for the benefit of the people. Accordingly, the main factor in the emergence of the media is the development of communication technologies. Thus, newspapers, books, magazines, radio, television, etc. can be identified as mass media. The media is the method used to exchange information. The English word mass media is used. Mass means 'large crowd'. This means addressing a large crowd.
